I purchased this tea as a mid-morning beverage. The bag reseals tight to provide secure storage. When opening the bag, there is a sweet aroma that reminds you of baking sugar cookies. I used one teaspoon and brewed for approximately 3 minutes. The tea smells pleasant when sipping. The taste is an herbal cinnamon blend. I enjoy the tea as is with no added flavoring!This is the stuff for tea lovers and newbies alike! I tried all six flavors and they are all wonderful! The cinnamon sugar cookie was my favorite and had the most amazing aroma. The apple pie and creme brûlée came in close behind. Each one was unique and tasted just as described. I will be back for more!Decent flavored black teas. Not the strongest flavors but good variety.Samplers are supposed to give you a taste but leave you wanting more. The scent when I open the bag is wonderful and the flavors are strong but not overpowering. No need to add sweetener but I am sure they would taste good with some. They come nicely packaged for gifting to the tea lover in your life. It is not cheap but are very good tea.These samples make me want larger amounts of all of the flavors. So they are successful as samples.I've been having more tea lately in an effort to reduce my snacking. The flavored teas from Erika's Tea Room are delicious and help me fight my cravings because they capture the general taste of some of my favorite foods. Blueberry muffin, apple pie, and sugar cookie are all foods that I love. The tea versions are satisfying and a reasonable way for me to pause and regroup when I'm thinking of grabbing a high calorie snack.The sampler is a good way to taste their most popular teas.This is a sampler of some decently flavored teas. There are varieties, mostly the ones that smell super sweet - like "blueberry muffin" or "Crème Brule." My favorite was by far "vanilla mint earl grey." The teas themselves just didn't strike me of a good quality - very small leaves, for example. Some teas had almost dust-like additives. All in all, these blends just looked super homemade, with no ingredients listed on any of them.10/28/2021Enjoyed the variety in the pack and the flavors were pretty good, but no steep time given nor recommended amount per tea bag/steeper, though that's less of an issue. Had to do some hard-core searching to find information on how long to steep the various blends sent, this should have been part of the packaging, but it wasn't. It also was not included in any of the materials that came with the teas. After going to the website to find more information, some of the tea flavors were just not there, so based on other similar blends had to 'guess' what would be the best steep time. Recommendation to put this information in with the teas to make this less of a hassle for the end user.
